Energy Efficiency for All is a powerful initiative dedicated to linking the energy and housing sectors together in order to tap the benefits of energy efficiency for millions of low-income families. Unfortunately, many of the materials commonly used for these applications in affordable housing contain toxic chemicals. The Natural Resource Defense Council (NRDC), ILFI, Healthy Building Network (HBN), Elevate Energy, and Vermont Energy Investment Corporation (VEIC) are collaborating to shine a light on toxic chemical concerns and advocate for toxic chemical avoidance. In this interactive session participants from across the industry will engage in a workshop intended to leverage and scale up these lessons learned across the affordable housing industry and beyond.
